What's great about Blokart sailing?
Blokart land sailing is very unique. Sure, land sailing has been around for hundreds of years, but the blokart evolved around 1998 when the designer, Paul Beckett, got busy in his shed trying to develop a land sailor vessel that could be easily transported around in the back of a small car.
While the blokart hasn’t changed a lot since its inception, it has evolved with improvements of fittings, sails and rigging. A blokart is a device that can be purchased and start sailing it straight away. Set-up takes less than 15 minutes, and best of all, it packs back down into a bag 120cm x 80cm x 20cm high, yep, the size of a suitcase.

Having a low tide, if applicable, and the right wind direction is important so timing depends on these two factors. No one who has tried blokarting has said that they didn’t get a real buzz and enjoy themselves!
